COVID-19 continues to impact the entire world, leaving everyone adjusting a new way of life. Fruits of the Family Table is in the process of repositioning our service delivery; as essential service support is not an option but a requirement. We want to formally introduce our COVID-19 relief services:

Friday Night Light, FNL

This is a weekly virtual gathering every Friday evening for 1-hour, 7:30 pm to 6:30 pm Eastern Time. This group is open to anyone interested in enlightenment, motivation, encouragement and support considering COVID-19. For this entire experience is a shared experience despite social distancing. Those in attendance have described Friday Night Light as interesting, encouraging, motivational and supportive. We also offer 2 free raffles of Fruits of the Family Table gifts and a free lunch to those in attendance.  For more information on Friday Night Light, click here or email s.wilsontft@gmail.com .

Remote Reentry Support

Re-entry is a main mission area for Fruits of the Family Table, we are grateful to offer remote case management services to those men and women returning from custody. The impact of COVID-19 is another layer of trauma our returning neighbors must experience in addition to meeting basic needs at home. Our services consist of individual/group telephone/virtual meetings, resource referrals, MA application completion, daily words of affirmation, ER basic need support and advocacy services. We are accepting new referrals here.

Though Philadelphia was able to release over 1000 men and women during COVID-19, there are millions of men and women still confined and potentially running out of hope with the sudden halt of life as we know it. We have partnered with Books Through Bars in their efforts to keep those still behind bars abreast of the outside world through mailing out COVID-19 information and personal motivation letters. If you would like to support these efforts, please email s.wilsontft@gmail.com or call (267) 410-6188.
