FOTFT begins providing remote reentry case management services and partners with Books Through Bars to provide letters to incarcerated individuals for COVID-19 education/updates and letters of hope in trying times.
March 2020During March and April we collaborated with the Food Connect Program in support of linking their food services to local meal distribution community based organizations for families and individuals in need.
March / AprilFrom May thru June we hosted "Friday Night Lights", a 10-week Virtual Gathering to support one another during the pandemic as we all navigated the uncertainties of Covid-19.
May / JuneWe spent the month of June raising funds in partnership with Upper Darby Corporation For Community and Economic Development to provide fresh fruits and Vegetables for the Upper Darby Food Bank.
JuneAugust and September Fruits of the Family Table hosted socially distant Craft Making Sundays for children in the Upper Darby community.
August / SeptemberSeptember we hosted a month long Virtual Education Series covering financial wellness, property ownership, thriving in a pandemic, spiritual accountability and coping with Covid-19.
SeptemberIn November we provided 100 care packages to individuals who are incarcerated within the Philadelphia Prison System.
NovemberDecember we honored seven essential workers with Gift Cards for holiday shopping & Gathered virtually for a Holiday Card Making party to make close to a 100 holiday cards for the Watkins Avenue Senior Center in Upper Darby, PA.
